ENCORE Chamber Music's is a registered
501(c)3 non-profit organization

is to bring the world’s most exceptional musicians to Cleveland in order to inspire, educate, and innovate through the art of engagement in music.

to develop a premier international summer festival and year-round residency programs through which we empower and nurture young musicians; and to contribute to Cleveland-area communities by bringing music of the highest caliber and by educating the next generation of artist-citizens. ENCORE strives to create a uniquely supportive environment that encourages creativity, interpretive exploration, and artistic collaboration.

ENCORE Chamber Music invites the world’s most gifted young chamber musicians to the Northeast Ohio Area for a summer training program of artistic growth and discovery in a wildly creative atmosphere. Our vision is to inspire students to explore the farthest reaches of their intellect and passion, teach them the crucial skills of artistic leadership and communication, and help them establish a foundation for the lifelong journey of teaching oneself.

ENCORE accomplishes its mission by inviting world-class pedagogues and performers with innovative teaching methods to Northeast Ohio to educate our selective group of talented students. From these exceptional musicians, students learn the transformative possibilities of music, gain a deeper understanding of artistic interpretation and expression, learn to appreciate different perspectives, become more aware of body movements, and develop stronger emotional attachments to music.

ENCORE is a unique addition to the region where we believe music is an avenue that connects people and builds communities. While at ENCORE, students and faculty collaborate in engagement and outreach projects with organizations including the Cleveland Public Theater, the Rainey Institute, Literacy Through the Arts, Judson Park, and Trinity Cathedral. Our goal is to enrich Northeast Ohio by infusing the community with carefully curated and meaningful artistic experiences, especially reaching out to those that might never otherwise encounter the beauty of chamber music.
